my fear

Running, running is all that
I can do.
Never able to escape
From the fear,
I'm running from.
Always deciding which way to turn.
Always fearing what will happen next.
Never stop running in fear of being caught.
Never stopping when I reach a dead end.
Always trying to find another way out.
Always praying that nothing will happen.
Trying to keep my emotions under way
So that I won't trip.
But all I can feel is
bitter exhaustion,and sadness.
And I ask myself why is that?
