"Live everyday like its your last"

Everything starts with a text
What will happen next?
She sends him a quick "hey"
For fear that he may look away
He questions if it's enough, but sends "what's up?"
They are both unaware of all the gossip
It all depends, she comprehends, but sends "nothing much"
In the palms of their hands, their hands, their cell phones they clutch
They tell each other all
But dont talk in the hall
Is he just shy
She wonders why?
The homcoming dance is coming near
Does she like him, it is still unclear
Shall he ask her as his new date
This is really the big debate
