Winter's Love
A winter’s love is like a morning bleak
Waning, watching, never within reach
The lies of the twisted tales surround my heart
Slowly tying together in fear of breaking apart
The forms dance and play in my sunlight
While casting dark shadows in my moonlight
How long can an enemy be fed?
Off of my own energy in hopes that cannot be said?
To dance is to play and to play is to enjoy
And to enjoy is to use the soul as a selfish toy
In devious plots that discriminate the humble
To keep my true spirits voice only to a mumble
So dominance can be met and destruction assured
Until the day comes that The Plan is over for
But at the end of the tunnel the candle is lit
Refusing to surrender and refusing to quit
A Heart will not bow to a master but only to The Master
To speed up the recovery even faster
Cause life is not free but bought with a price
For His own people He made the ultimate Sacrifice
So the end of the poem and the moral is this
Discover the truth and have the lies dismissed
And don’t mistake the minds love for one from the Heart
For surely your life will desperately fall apart
For a winter’s love is like a morning bleak
Waning, watch, but never within reach
