911

October 25, 2007

The emergency sirens began to ring
There’s no telling what this call may bring
The fire trucks began to jerk
Now we’re on our way to work
We’re expected to run into burning buildings
But who really cares about our feelings
What about our families and friend
What would they do if our lives end
We run in to save the lives that are trapped
That is what we are rapt
Even though we’re losing our own
We try our best to bring others home

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
343 fire fighters died on 911 trying to save the many of people in the burning and collapsing buildings. Doing their job knowing they probably won’t walk away.
