home
all she needs is sunshine & ocean
 beaches are her heart
 california sun is her soul
 drives down pacific coast highway
 evenings spent strolling the boardwalk
fresh chicken taquitos devoured at Josie’s Place
 glittering lights of downtown nights
hot winter days lounging on the lawn
in n out burgers, the best in the world
jamba juice is the place to be
kids enjoy the snow up in big bear
lovely is the cool september rain
missing her home, her love, her life
 no place can ever compare
open windows to get fresh air
palm trees litter every street, every yard
quiet nights can be hard to find
rolling around in the bright green grass
stars only seen in the hilly deserts
theme parks open all year round
under the sun she feels at ease
vain snobby people crowd the streets of hollywood
water, a strange gray, is only minutes away
xpect california to take your breath away
you will never want to leave after spending just one day
zooming away to california…her sweetest dream
