Ode to Earth

She gave us water,
and air to breath,
what are we but dirty thieves?
she gave us land,
with fertile soil,
all of which,
we foolishly spoiled!
To hurt the place from which we've derived,
our sacred Earth,
she is alive!
She loves us down to her core,
surely she deserves more,
Her beautiful features,
only make her more kind,
planet Earth you are divine,
planet Earth you are divine.
