"The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid. "- Jane Austen

Let me whisper lies to you
Be entranced by my falsehoods sweet
Let me bewitch you with untruth
Just fall into my deceit
Stand upon the brink
Of my wave of many myths
Slide into delusions
Take hold of dishonesty's gifts
Watch as I make magic
From lies, so satin, so pretty, and so wrong
From within my lies
Comes poetry, story, and song
So let me lie a little longer
Just let me spin my craft
Savor my magic not so real
Cherish my lies while they last
For soon enough existence
Will burst my little dream
So treasure my sweet fallacy
As the part of reality it will never be
