Predetermined fate

May 29, 2010
It hit me
I don't know exactly when
maybe it came out
when you dated my best friend
I love you

Everyone talks about us
and we just laugh it off
but, they seem to have a point
that I can't deny anymore

Because I am a yoyo on your string
I always come back around to you
it's my predetermined fate
and there's nothing I can do

I want to cut these strings
and tear myself away
but, I'm afraid of losing you
and I don't want to mess with fate

I want this forever
and I don't want this at all
don't ask me to marry you
just be there when I fall

When I am broken, standing by
your house, not sure what to do
accept the love you have for me?
hide the love I have for you?

my hand is at your door
consider this my soundless knock

i really like it, it kinda expresses my thoughts, but my poems are more "i wish you'd be always there for me, so marry me". not exactly how you say it. but i still feel that way.

LOVED IT.
