Hearts pounding
Palms sweating
Head in a whirlwind of thoughts
Things passing by unnoticed;
Words being said that has no meaning
Someone help me out of this darkness and show me the light
Tell me that everything is going to be alright.
Rejection hitting harder and causing more fear than a nightmare
All those feelings that once were there are now gone!
Nothing is there anymore and it kills me to face the reality
The flower that we had that was so beautiful and full of life is now dead
No longer alive we must move on in life
