I am a rock song

I am a rock song,
That was created by a starving artist,
Who played on the streets of New York,
Yearning for his song to one day be a hit.

I am a rock song,
That ends the way that it started,
Telling the soundtrack of the singers’ life,
Ending with the words “I always knew what I wanted to do.”

I am a rock song,
The kind of song that puts you in another world,
Which starts out soft and gets louder and louder with every beat,
That makes neighbors go crazy
because it is as loud as fan girls screaming at a boy band concert.

I am a rock song,
That song no one believed in,
Which becomes a hit and plays on every radio station,
Giving inspiration and hope to those who need it most.
