The hunter
stalking his prey
so very quietly
waiting, waiting for the prey
to come to him.
Letting the prey
come to him.

Crack!
A branch breaking
under the hooves of a deer.
The deer showing itself through
the dense wooden forest
where he once took refuge.
The hunter patiently waiting
for the perfect time to pull the trigger.
The hunter masked in darkness
raises his gun
and slowly pulls the trigger.

His body elongating turning into metal.
The bullet in his chamber fires
leaving the barrel
with a POW!
The bullet spiraling to
meet the doomed animal.
The bullet hitting the deer square in the chest.
The life getting squeezed out of the animal.
The deer feeling no pain falls to the ground
with a thud.
