Normalcy
Rushing River
Round and round,
Through the forgotten woods of sorrow.
Winding.
Whipping.
Wind.
Through and through
Animals jumping,
Leaves falling,
Bells are ringing in my ear.
Dainty prancing,
Dancing happily,
Until the day is up.
Dust surrounding my broken heart
Seems you won’t forget,
But it’s to hard to admit.
Getting better
Waiting for some thing or someone else to come along
Until the day it’s gone again,
Once more we start all over.
The loss.
The heartache.
The hurt that fills our mind body and soul
The endless amount of tears
Seems like eternity.
Thoughts about forgotten words,
Rushing through your head.
Don’t slow.
Keep on moving.
Or else you might have to think about what used to be the normalcy of each day
That was left by love.
