Braken
One smile
One wave
Here for a while
Then gone in a Day
Unable to save
8:45
Everything changed
Sunshine to rain
He went so fast
There was no pain
6 feet beneath us he lays still
Eyes closed tight
Against his will
So many tears
He went so young
At only 19 years
The graveyard wind whispers his name
For all that he has been through
But this time it’s not a game
When his heart is next to mine
I feel so alive
I know I’m not alone
He’s still here, just under a headstone
November 5th, 2009 we all say goodbye
To a friend, a brother, and to one a boyfriend
One Day I will say hello again
With one smile
And one wave
