What Love Can Do
Her kindness was all he had ever known
Her love was deeper than all life itself
Beauty around her, humbleness was shown
When around him, she was always herself
Death hit her so young, he didn’t understand
His heart was in pain, his stomach on fire
He felt like he was going to die and
He yelled at the doctors that they’re liars
As he looked back on his loved wife he cried
He thought of the past and started to shake
He thought it over and went for a ride
All he needed was to get to the lake
In the icy water his life faded,
All the while his beautiful wife waited.
