Skating and shoving:
skates scrape the ice as angry shouting resounds.
Crowds cheering, scoreboard buzzing:
swinging hockey stick, dodging other players.
A thud as members slam into the side of the rink:
puck hits goal, crowd booing.
Skates glide in what is now watery slush:
cheering sounds as the kid gets up from the fall.
Happiness hangs for a moment
until suddenly blood appears again.
