I hate that cocky smirk of yours
I hate the way you laugh
I hate how you stare at me
In biology and math
I hate your hazel eyes
And how they shimmer in the sun
I hate how you mess with me
Just to have some fun
I hate how kind you are
And how you make me smile
I hate how you broke my heart
With your words so vile
But what I hate the most
Is how you make my heart stop
Every beat it skips
Every sigh I make
And every breath I take
