The Storm

My name is Legion, for we are many
Sitting strong, silent, through the storm
Through the wind, our hearts are heavy
Trying to keep our spirit adorn.

Sitting strong, silent, through the storm
The demons come in numbers.
Trying to keep our spirit adorn
They haunt our wake and slumber.

The demons come in numbers
Keeping a good mans’ mind corrupt.
They haunt our wake and slumber,
Letting violence in turn erupt.

Keeping a good man’s mind corrupt
Through the wind, our hearts are heavy,
Letting violence in turn erupt
My name is Legion for we are many.

The author's comments:
We had to right a Pantoum for english class. That is when lines 2 and 4 of a stanza become lines 1 and 3 of the next stanza. You also need to try to have the first and last line be the same. It's a really weird poem to write and i thought i did fairly well on it.
