Young Again
Young
Freckled face
One that always
Wore a smile
No matter all the scraped knees
Booboos
It was always a new experience
All of the new adventures
Trips to the dinosaur caves
To the ice cream truck
Even the sidewalk
He would always come home
With new stories
And adventure
His imagination ran wild
Like an untamed mustang
No one could stop him
Once he was going
Visions
Of the world
As he knew it
Would never cease to exist
All he needed
Was a mound of dirt
And he had a story to tell
No one understood him
No one put up with him
They just let him be
And he loved
Every second of it
Some say he was weird
Other say he was crazy
But deep down
I know
