Lucky
When I was just a child
I never really knew
That I would ever meet someone
As close to amazing as you.
You opened up a door for me
To a place I'd rarely been
Filled with love and hugs and smiles
Filled with fun and happiness.
Although I've sometimes had these things
You make them special, too.
In ways you can't imagine
All the loving things you do.
If I had to buy a present
That should prove your friendship's worth
I'd have no other choice
But to buy the universe.
So now I need to tell you
How much you mean to me.
A comrade, a sister, a friend.
Having you makes me so lucky.
