True Delight
An ocean of green and yellow
welcomes my feet as I tread upon the soft grass.
My hair softly sways in the wind
while the sun shines down the depths of my eyes.
My bare feet whimsically skip past daisies.
Above me a rainbow shelters my head;
its promise of peace hangs in my mind.
Trees in the distance intertwine,
making a boundary to other worlds.
I have become one with the scenery
My sunday dress drips down my legs,
and with hands in the air I spin around,
careless of the whole world.
For all I can see for miles and miles
is the wonder of the earth's majesty.
