Everyone
Silence is a moment fleeting,
Thoughts steadfast and worlds the meeting,
Silence in an infant bleating,
Parents spellbound at the door.
Loud are times reserved for loving,
Lively combat, vivid shoving,
Loud is life, until sweet nothing
Push souls down forever more.
Ever more a perfect valley,
Moments, friends, a kiss in an alley,
For Ever more do humans rally,
Memory rushing, a waterfall’s roar.
The soul is made of human silence,
The body loud with human violence,
And ‘midst these cacophonic sirens,
Sit our thoughts, for
Ever
more.
