Take It or Leave It
I’m hesitant,
Ambivalent,
Nonconforming,
And okay with it.
I’m not stupid,
Not Intelligent,
Apprehensive,
‘Bout the rest of it.
I’m just livin’,
I’m just breathin’,
Got some baggage,
But I’m dealin’.
I get high,
But still crash low,
There’s so much
That you don’t know.
I’m a loser,
And a quitter,
It’d be nice
If I were thinner.
I’m a lover
And a fighter
Got a stog,
But need your lighter.
So this is me,
How I turned out,
At least I know
What I’m about
I’m not fake,
I’m down to earth.
Just hope this life of mine
Will work.
