The Look in Your Eyes
I can see love in those eyes,
as pure and beautiful as the sunrise.
It’s like a warm feeling of rays,
when you gaze at me.
I’m crazed and weak,
you bring out this vulnerability that has me afraid to speak.
You’re like a secret I couldn’t keep
or even be trusted to have.
Just a distant dream
a forgotten memory that doesn’t come back,
a temptation like lust,
that I could never touch-
forever plus I’m trying better to muster up words to describe
…but you explain it much better
with the look in your eyes.
