HIM who we all know
Sudden quiet he comes
Hospital patients, wrinkled covered he doesn’t care
He creeps upon
The chest moves up and down
With faint breathing sounds
Your body grows stiff and cold
The absence of blood flow
He goes as quickly as he comes
No scratches, no screams
He leaves nothing behind
But their dreams
This something we all have to face
But before you go remember your last trace.
