Children love June
Teenagers sleep until noon
Parents relax in the living room.

Summer is the best time of year for everyone.

Kids,
They eat their sweet, creamy, vanilla ice cream,
They are worry free.
No school, no classrooms, nothing
But the fresh air on a hot, steamy, summer day.

Teens,
Stuff their faces with all the junk imaginable,
Chips, cookies, pop.
No more teachers, homework, detentions, nothing.
Video games are the new curriculum.
Play sports with there best buds,
Games that don’t count for anything except for the bragging rights.
They’re worry free.

Adults,
Sit back and enjoy the beautiful summer.
“Do I have to go to school,” no longer ringer in their ears.
Lounge around on the patio and read till dinner.
No more sick, whinny, annoying, kids, because they are off playing with their friends.
