The Night Runner

Small but big in size
It’s creepy little tail
Long thick hairy bodies
Running around outside
The night it calls
The four legged creature
With teeth like knives
Eating their way through life
Along side the streets
Creeping through the alley’s
Trying to find me
Where shall I go?
Where do they come from?
No where its seems
Haunting and taunting the night
Fearing the daylight
At the breaking of dawn
They seem to have vanished
Where did they go?
I hope not to know
