“Light”
Darkness, Despair, and there’s no light to see.
I’ll be your light, so just follow me.
The pathway of life has its twist and turns,
Scars, bruises, and its severe burns,
Don’t let that stop you from pursuing your dreams.
Stuff may happen, if that’s what it seems.
Don’t let the negatives take over your life.
Pick up a book and put down the knife.
Scholarships and careers are coming your way.
Hey, you might even be famous someday.
If that’s what you want to do,
Go ahead and do it.
I’ll be right there next to you.
You’ll be the perfect fit.
