It is not very easy being thirteen
Not a child not a adult just somewhere in between
Your parents are always driving you crazy
Still treating you like a baby
Your always dying to be independant
Final making money and ready to spend it
But sometimes you still need your dad and your mom
To bail you out when you do something wrong
And sometimes you still get a craving for one of those little kid games
When your stuck inside on the days that it rains
But you have to learn to let these things go
They cannot go on with you as you grow
I no it is so hard being stuck in the middle
Still not full grown but yet not very little
Sometimes it is so confusing you just want to scream
It is not easy at all being thirteen
