A dog is like a class in a grade,
but a piece of your heart, instead,
a friend for ups and downs,
a friend for good and bad.
A dog is a friend forever,
who is made just for you,
like a twin, in a weird way.
They think the way you do.
A dog is one, who understands,
like no one else may,
through highs and lows,
wherever, they will follow.
