If I could change one thing about me
I would get rid of this deep anger
Diminish my self-pride and
Throw away my big greed
Somehow it’s too hard
Failing today
Tomorrow
A big
Flaw.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem during a time when I was so disgusted with my greed and self pride. In a world where there is so much oppression and need of compassion, I felt this poem could inspire others to see that we can change ourselves.
