I Wish
I wish I wasn’t so short
Any ant can reach up to my thigh
I am not allowed on the basketball courts
For all the players look so tall and high
I wish I wasn’t so smart
My brain is filled with anonymous facts
I can name the creators of all the famous art
I made up the historic Warsaw pact
I wish I didn’t wear glasses
I often get called four eyes
Although I can see well
I think I look pretty wise
I wish I wasn’t so cute
I am more adorable than a little bear
Surely you know I play the flute
Cute from my toes up to my hair
I wish I wasn’t many things
But I love myself in many ways
Like an angel with new sprouted wings
I am perfect the way I am!
