Fire and Brimstone at the gates of Hell
Fire and brimstone at the gates of Hell,
I can hear Satan ring the dinner bell.
The demons all swarm to get in line,
They whoop, they holler, they dance in time,
All in a frenzy as if under a spell.
The new arrivals quake where they dwell,
Terrified that they are the ones to sell.
Deep growls suggest that it is time to dine.
Fire and brimstone at the gates of Hell.
We waiting here know this will not end well.
Few can contain a final cry, “Farewell!”
Me, I stay quiet, never one to whine.
It’ll be over soon, I can tell.
Fire and Brimstone at the gates of Hell.
