I’m from Missouri and Pennsylvania
Steeler black and Chiefs red.
My brother and I bleed Eagle green
My sister’s blood is yet to be determined.

I’m from hip-hop and ballet
And the joy dance brings me.
Quartz rocks sparkle and shine
At the beach and in the park where I hunt them.

I’m kind, caring, helpful and fun
From dealing with seizures and autism.

I’m a loyal friend
And a voice for those who can’t speak.
I’m winter sledding and summer biking
And traveling America whenever I can.

I’m from happy movies
That fill me with joy.

I’m from rosary beads
And food for the poor.

I’m from crab legs,
Tacos and fruits galore.
I run and hide from cooked carrots.
Sweet potatoes are no good potatoes.

I’m from vacations with my family
Myrtle Beach, Hershey Park and Missouri.
I love to go see children’s museums
But I enjoy them more with my family.

I’m from friends that are awesome and kind
They are also fun, caring and very helpful.
I’m always making new friends
But not all of the time.
I’m nervous and excited
But mostly thrilled to be loved by so many.

This poem was an assignment for English and I just thought about my life and turned it into the poem.
