Change I was a young girl who didn’t know much.
I remember the day I lost my hero to a painful death.
I heard the constant beeping of the machine.
I saw him get sicker and sicker each day.
I worried that I’d never get over his death.
I thought for sure that I’d never be the same.
But, I want to change.
I am one who doesn’t like to dwell on the past.
I think the world is one scary place.
I need to forget the past and move on.
I try to keep a positive attitude. I feel angry because of everything that’s happened to me.
I forgive them for the pain they’ve caused me.
Now I can change.
I will do my best to succeed.
I choose to let go of what’s holding me back.
I dream about overcoming my fears. I hope to achieve all my goals.
I predict that no matter what, I will be happy.
I know I will always do my best
I will change.
