Not always a crying shame

The tears they are there
I can feel them
They want to escape
I can tell
They want to pool up and spill over
Just to feel them stream down my face
I need them to
It feels as if i have no emotions
i want to cry
to feel that release
but i cant do it
Momma's always taught me never to
cry over spilled milk
and this is nothing more than spilled milk
i will not and can not shed a single tear
for this is just lost hope
