"Howling"

October 5, 2007
By Mercedes Anderson, Jonesboro, AR

Shining brightly among the stars.
Looking down upon everyone.
Seeing their smiles,
only shining brighter.
The clouds that blanket me,
make the world dreary and cold.
The shadows are hidden by
the darkness around them.
Round and full of love,
crimson as blood.
Half shaded and half luminous and bright.
Yellow, very forgiving.
Fully hidden, trying to remain by my lonesome.
Every blue moon, special and true.
