I Dug Myself a Well to Fall Into

I will never speak of the time
I fell into the darkness,
With the icy water swimming round my feet.
I will never speak of
The terrible rising brick wall
Coming round my head,
Circling and closing in,
Repressing me from the inside out.
I will never speak of the time
I spent eternity,
Kicking and screaming,
Dying for the freedom outside the well.
