The soft petals on my back
long to find the connection to you.
A whole party is sent,
with not the slightest feeling of resentment.
Dear Mister,
Don't you really want to know,
the abondonment of a treasure you never had a chance to know?
There is a certain someone you never had enthusiasm...
or ever say "I love you".
I haven't heard from you since birth.
I took several deep breaths,
and held back all the hurt.
I grew up knowing that something in this puzzle wasn't right.
My life felt incomplete.
I smile and laugh,
I long to know, and hope and wonder....
I'm just that diminiutive butterfly
that's left to flutter,
all across the morning skies.
Was it so easy to leave all this behind?
I don't know what to think of you anymore,
