"A Hand to Hold"
Ever changing, life may seem,
Like nothing but a surreal dream.
One moment laughter,
The next is pain.
One moment sunlight,
The next is rain.
Bridges firm, they seem so sure,
Of breaking never, not once more.
Oh, but the shock they bring when they fall,
The weight of devastation upon us all.
At first it seems it can't be real,
But devastation takes it's time to heal.
Soon you'll realize it's not a dream.,
But it all works out in the grand scheme.
Loved ones lost, they will be found,
Mercy, love, and forgiveness abound.
The pain and tears don't seem so cold,
When you've got a hand to hold.
