Empty Space

By
softly so softly the world began to end
quickly too quickly he forgot what had been

memories:
tiny kisses gently grazing my hair
moments lost in time- security without a care
desires:
shy smiles coated with promise
a voice, a name tinged with sorrow
reality:
blurry colors washing away an empty day
words ringing false tucked in a mindless sway

lost so lost the dry return of a friend
tired too tired the drums beat to no end
