Knew she’d never make it
From the time she met
That tree she couldn’t fake it
She was scared out of her mind
Disbelieving
How could she climb
A tree that passed the ceiling
She watched everyone climb effortlessly
But when it came to her turn
Her feet stayed steadfastly
And now she wanted to burn
That stupid tree.
