Disguise

Silent, she looked into his eyes.
A penetrating gaze,
Nothing more than a disguise.
A lovely smile,
Full of surprise.

A gentle touch,
Cutting to the core.
Leaving empty yearnings
In wish of something more:
A return, a smile
Those wondering brilliant eyes.
But it was all simple, devised disguise.
