Midnight Crawler

I see what no one sees,
I am what no one sees.
I creep and sneak,
Through night’s darkest hours.
Some know me as a bother, a pest,
They scream and they run away from me
I don’t like them either,
I run in fear.
Who am I?
You may not know me at all.
But at midnight,
You might just hear me crawl.
