Cockroach

I almost wish I was a cockroach.
It's one of the most hated creatures,
Upon this controversial world.
And yet, it will probably outlive,
Us: the higher, superior beings.
Through all the negative emotions,
The roach continues its life.
Not worrying who it offends,
With its continued existence.
Olnly thinking of the location,
Of its next lea and nearest mate.
It feeds upon our discarded filth,
And lives in the lands of disease,
But it is only thankful,
For all the world provides.
Something many people need,
To take to heart and consider.
Yes, I almost wish I was a cockroach,
But only almost.
