Reading a book is like a whole new world,
In my own planet, snuggled in my bed and curled.
Reading is an activity, one I love most,
Dreaming and believing, my mind is the host.
In a fairytale, I'm a pretty princess,
Or I may be a villain, more or less.
Feeling the sadness as the character cries,
I hurt and feel pain, though I know the lies.
A book is a different kind of imagination,
I can read anywhere- in the car, home, or on vacation.
Reading my whole life, I love it so much,
So close to my heart, just like a touch.
