Never say "I can't"

Life is just a big bowl of anticipation
filled with sugars that are nowhere near sweet.
Stacked with mounds of anger and hatred
that make you feel sudden defeat.
Out of madness these sugars gain power,
increasing more within each hour.
Until all of the sweetness has perished
And the sweets are called sour.
These sours become more imperfect.
Until their downfall passes the bar.
Then they are given the name human
For that is what they really are.
Imperfect and without mercy,
Jealous and sometimes fake.
When you study the principals of humans,
You sometimes lower the rate.
Some live life to the fullest,
Some go through more than they can bear.
But this thing called life is really nothing fair.
For humans care for meaningless things,
like their clothes and the style of their hair.
But when they search inside for inspiration,
Nothing at all is there.
For we as humans bring pain to ourselves.
But it is all others that we blame.
When your soul shifts position,
Only then can life change.
But life is just a big bowl of anticipation
filled with sugars nowhere near sweet.
Sugars that then turn sour.
Life can be such a nasty treat.

This piece is about life itself. I wrote it when I thought about life as a candy
