Favorite Quote:
..."Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, or a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in you or the world, that one song stays the same, just like that moment" (Sarah Dessen's Just listen pg 96-97).

A punishment in the dictionary is defined as "subject to pain"
There is nothing about love written in anyway
Yet it is the only word I can use to explain,
the feelings that will forever lay.
If it was in your hand,
to be free.
Than in this world you will forever stand
But that can't happen, because there is always an open space that you can see.
And again if only it was in your hand,
to let go of all the sorrow
And let it disappear within a strand.
But as soon as it is in your hand you tighten your grasp
And it falls just like the sand.
Because love is a punishment no one can understand.

This may sound weird, but while I was the Turkish show Gumus they were talking about how love is a punishment and how it hurts a lot, so I thought that could be a good topic for a poem and here it is, hope it's good!
