Where I belong

My breath becomes raspy,
My vision is blurred.
My voice becomes softer,
Nothing seems real.
I can hear the calm ocean,
Salt water coursing through my veins.
My mind is absent,
Surfing on the waves,
Inviting me to dive in,
No need to hold my breath,
Keep my eyes wide open,
This is where I belong.
