What would we do without the “R”?
New Englanders would wash,
Instead of warsh.
Pirates would say “Qqqq,”
Instead of “Rrrr.”

Friends would be Fiends,
But Enemies would have no Revenge.
And badliest of all,
'Cause worst has an “r,”
We would have Poety,
Instead of Poetry.

I LOVE this!! I really appreciate the line "Friends would be Fiends,But Enemies would have no Revenge." You have serious rhetorical prowess.
