the desert that cries
makes false its very being
as with you as with i
as with tears still falling
eyes cry tears
hearts cry words
lacking concrete counterparts
and so the eyes cry
tangible misrepresentations
fallacy
undermining validity
for loneliness
a shared burden
their tears counterfeit
